Terrible!!! Do not waste your money on this trash. Does not clean clothes! Warranty does nothing.

Absolutely terrible!!!

Terrible! Do not waste your money on this junk. Does not get anything out of clothes. Whites still look dirty and dingy. In my forty years of doing laundry this washer disgusts me. It should be illegal to sell a product that works as poorly as this.

Help me fix this issue

Hi like the washer but we are having issues with white clothes they get black marks on them .

Defective

The washing machine had a manufacture’s defect. Drained water into my ceiling damaging my property. LG has been delinquent in reimbursing me for the money spent to repair the damage.

The Absolute Worst!!

We bought this machine thinking the large capacity and non agitator would be great for our large family. We regret that decision. This machine is not effecient with cleaning at all! You have to use the “add water” for every load in order for your clothes to even be “washed”. Our water bill has gone up a lot since purchasing. Lasted less than 4 years

Would not recommend. Pulsator motor died after less than four years. Of course its not under warranty (warranty is only 1 year). Called customer service and they can offer to fix it for $369. I would rather spend that money on a new washer from another brand. Avoid this washer and LG brand.

barely lasted 4 years and the motor burn up in it along with the electronics on the top

2 years and is already giving me issues, bought extended warranty and is a pain to get someone to help!!! I would definitely not buy this washer ever again!

Washing Machine ruined my floor and walls.

I’ve had this washing machine for around 2 years and the water inlet valve assembly broke and caused water to leak. Washroom floor was covered in water and ruined my flooring and the bottom of my walls. Do not recommend. Their “10 year warranty” expires less than 2 years too. Buy a Speed Queen instead.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

This machine broke down after 2 years and 2 months of owning it. I have been out of a washer machine for 2 months now and LG has no idea when the washing machine will be back in stock. I do not recommend purchasing this machine. Very disappointing and a waste of money!!!

poor product

we purchase LG washer and have had nothing but problems. We had a hanger for the tub come a loose. It was fixed and now the machine is still making noise. This was a waste of money for this purchase. We need a new washer machine.

Works well but foul tub drain issues

The washing functionality works well but after 27 months of ownership we started getting foul orders coming from the tub. This is a top loader! We always left lid and dispenser opened when not in use. We did all the recommended Tub Cleaning cycles but would only remedy the situation for a couple of days. Then the garment staining started, ruined multiple articles. Now have read enough reviews to know it is a common problem with this model. Would not recommend this one.

Lid Lock Issue- DO NOT BUY

I purchased this machine in May 2023 and it stopped working in March 2026. The lid lock will not work. We've purchased a replacement lid lock part and it still did not work. The lock was shut and wouldn't open, so my husband had to manually unlock it so I could get my clothes out. Now, the lock won't lock at all, therefore it won't start the machine and spin or wash my clothes. We contacted Lowe's and it was out of the warranty period. We contacted LG and it was also out of the warranty period. ...

Great Washer

Like the LG top loader washer. Purchased it just over two years ago. Previously had a front loader for several years which cleaned well but had mildew problems constantly around seals. This LG top loader has not had mold or mildew problems. Does a great job for cleaning and efficiency. Holds large loads.

Life AINT Good

This freaking thing. I run an animal rescue so i wash a lot of towels at home. This does not clean anything well, half the time the stuff doesn't get all the way wet, it's always off balance or coming up with some error. It just does not have enough power to agitate clothes, does not matter what size load I run. I regret buying it 2 years ago and I can't believe it had as many good reviews as it did, especially for the price.

Big disappointment LG (life's not good)

We have many LG appliances but this one could not stand the test of time. It was almost three years old before it broke and we had another LG before this unit that lasted about ten years. E6 code which is a bad clutch. it will be replaced by a Maytag. Diagnosis $119 and could be $350 to $400 to repair. No thanks.

Lasted two years before leaking water

LG used to make durable top load washers but not anymore. The tub to pump tube literally had a hole less than a year after warranty expired. Had to purchase the part for myself for $50 and repair it since LG repair program wanted to charge $150 just to diagnose the problem even though I informed them of the issue with a photo of the hole on the drain tube. We do not have a mouse problem so this was obviously a defect that got bigger over time. It was fun cleaning a massive puddle and airing out ...

Does not actually wash clothes

This sits in my garage unused. It can only SOAK clothes--they sit there and nothing happens. No agitation, no circulation, no movement. You might as well fill your sink and let your clothes soak there rather than sink your $ into this.
