Not for short people!

I do not recommend this washer to anyone, but I especially do not recommend it to anyone who is short. My daughter and I both cannot reach into the drum to get our clothing out. We have to stand on a stool. More than that, though...possibly because there is nothing in the middle of the drum, it cannot wash bedding. EVERY SINGLE TIME it becomes uneven and stops. Either bad design or broken washer

Product is clearly either defective or poorly designed. We are on our second repair for a brand new washer. Washing machine creates lawn mower like noises around the 12-16 minute remaining mark or odd internal vibrations that cause the washer to nearly walk across the floor. It’s balanced and leveled and repair man keeps being unable to find something wrong.

LE Error

There is a familar LE error that seems to occur on most of all their washers. If this is a common problem why has it not been fixed? I called and a tech was to call back and that was 3 weeks ago.

Not the best washing machine LG has made

Add this washer for approximately 2 1/2 years. I've had the glass top replaced twice now. Seems to have a defect that after a period of time the hinge spring breaks. This causes it to make a snapping noise when you open the top. Just had to have an LG repair man come three times to fix a banging noise in the wash and spin cycles. Should not be having this kind of problems with a relatively new machine. Not sure whether they're making them with cheaper parts now, but this washer has not lived up ...

LG Coldwater wash large capacity impeller

I really like this washing machine I can do all my bedding comforters, and even down comforters. Most of the time everything comes out great but this is my only gripe … every once in a while there is a little bit of white line areas. I’m not sure if it’s the soap that’s not getting clean through all the way so I always do a second rinse.

Headache inducing high frequency product

The high-pitch electrical noise is unbearable to me - causes me headaches. I am looking to get rid of this product. I hope that this type of high frequency inverter noise or whatever it is exactly gets outlawed by the US gov. I am submitting to United States Consumer Product Safety Commission - SaferProducts.gov. I am worried about the health of my small child and others.

Cant get rid of the gunk

I have owned this for two years (after switching from a competitor's front-loader that was always needing repairs). This machine is a good value and has large capacity. My primary complaint is that ever since purchasing we have constantly battled biofilm or mold flecks transferring to the clothing from the drum, despite proper maintenance and cleaning. Don't waste your money

I bought this washer thinking I would like it, and boy, was I wrong. First, it doesn't fill the drum with enough water, and your clothes don't get cleaned well. After one year, I noticed brown flakes getting into my clothes. I've done tub cleans and had someone come clean it for me —$275—still brown flakes. Great longevity but.

This is the second LG washing machine with a direct drive. My first LG machine lasted 12 years before giving up the ghost. Because of its longevity and efficient washing capacity, we purchased another. It has been a year since our purchase and we are still satisfied with its efficiency. However, over the past few months, the lid makes a loud snapping sound when opening immediately after a wash.

Died after 4 years

My second lg product to die after 4 years, first was the tv, now this one. Really never buying lg again

very little water is dispersed. The agitation is poor, I just want to replace it because of the hassle.

I'll agree with all the suggested review topics. It's efficient no vibration I can hear upstairs or noise. I love the deep water selection. Most newer washers put barely any water into the drum so you think the laundry wasn't cleaned good enough. It has a larger capacity than my last washer which is definitely plus. My husband tends to do big loads at a time since he has all dark clothes. The cycles are about an hour except certain ones that require soaking or extra rinses. All over great produc...

Okay, but could be better

The clothes seem to get fairly clean, but there is no selection for towels. That seems pretty basic. There is only cold, medium or hot choices for water temp. This machine has limited selections for the price.

Hard to clean

Mold and dirt accumulated under the plate to the point where we had to hire an expert to clean it twice. Cost as much as the washer itself. Could not remove the plate to clean underneath. I might add that the dryer sensor has not worked properly to the point where it is not used. Also we have a LG refrigerator.

Nothing But Problems

I've had this three years and every since the warranty expired, I've had the basket making squeeking noise and now the whole thing is dead! 3yrs? Please...

Waste of $$$$

Horrible washing machine ! Big waste of money! So disappointed! Does not clean, and soak is a joke! LG life is not good with this machine!
