Difficulty with Brownouts
Would Not RecommendBought this mid April. Took awhile to figure out the cooling stopped working after brownouts of several seconds due to Summer TStorms. Only after unplugging and replugging did it work properly. LG wouldn’t replace it or fix it. They said it’s my electrical problem. Never seen it on all our fridges over the years.

Defective Out of the Box
Would Not RecommendThe fulfillment man dropped the refrigerator, which was still boxed, and it came down hard on the corner where the compressor was located. Don't know if this caused the problem or a manufacturer's defect, however since there was no damage to the body of the fridge when unboxed I'm betting it was a manufacturer's defect. Still he should have taken greater care NOT to drop it. Let refrigerator stand upright for 24 hours and when it was plugged in, did not come on. Unplugged for 10 minutes to try ...

Called customer service and I could return it or they could give me 75.00 for the troubles. Unfortunately I had no way to return it to the store (that’s why I had it delivered) so I had to keep it. Would Not RecommendDo not purchase this refrigerator. Mine came in with a defective compressor out of the box. Lowes refused to return the item and told me to contact the manufacturer. When I did contact the manufacturer they told me to call lowes for additional help. I have since filed a chargeback with my credit card company, this is nothing less than fraud!
