Would Not RecommendBurners in front were getting super crazy hot once in a while even on a medium setting. I suspect a defect in control or sensor or something like that. I procrastinated on reporting it. Then, predictably, one of them actually burned out and died. So now I'm down a burner, AND the other one still gets mega hot randomly sometimes. Super disappointing. I got this because Consumer Reports rated LG most reliable, but it seems like they really messed up this one. And now I'm stuck with it. I could try...

Disappointment
This stove is a disappointment. After 20 minutes on preheating, it indicates that the temperature is 375° yet an oven thermometer reads 270 Degrees. A repair man indicated this is normal for this kind of stove. He suggested I wait another 20 minutes for it to get to the correct temperature. Furthermore, the Sabbath mode doesn’t work well.

Would Not RecommendWhat a total piece of garbage. The front burner totally stopped working after less than 7 months. It’s been 3 weeks since I called LG and there’s still no repair scheduled or replacement of the oven scheduled. When it did work, the front burners had no temps between scorch or barely warm. The oven is uneven in heat. In the event you do buy this or any appliance from Lowe’s NEVER buy an extended warranty. Be careful of the front knobs!
Would RecommendVery nice looking range. Easy to use and the oven heats up quickly. I just wish the burner knobs had a lock out where you would have to squeeze a button then push in on the knob and then turn the burner on. I have inadvertently leaned against a knob reaching into a cabinet above the stove and the burner came on. Other than that I give the stove an A+.
