Never buy an LG appliance

One of five LG products I bought all together. Doesn't hold a consistent temperature. If you bake, don't buy this. I owned all for less than three years before four of the five broke down in the same month.

It broke with 2 years.

The top burners died right at the 2 year mark.

This stove has been horrible. Less than 2 years old and the front left burner already quit working. Doesn't bake/broil evenly. Only good thing about it is the built-in airfryer

Unreliable oven—absolutely not for anyone who bake

This range is only three years old, and the oven cannot reliably maintain its temperature. It may preheat normally, but the temperature then fluctuates or drops during baking, producing inconsistent and sometimes completely unusable results. I have verified the problem with a separate oven thermometer. I bake professionally, so temperature consistency is not optional. I have lost ingredients, time, finished products, and customer orders because I cannot trust this oven to do the most basic part...

Bad Door Material

This is the second LG stove we have bought. In both cases, the dark glass on the front of the oven door shattered. In neither case was the oven door slammed-or otherwise mistreated.

Burners stick on high

burns up food and pans. Can not be left unattended. This unit is a hazard. LG needs to step up and fix this. A temporary fix is reset power.

Burner has went out after 2 years

Burner quit working. It is very frustrating when you have only had a stove for a couple of years and it stops working. I can see why everyone is so frustrated. Definitely wouldn't recommend

Defective

It worked ok for about 6 months or so. Then, the main burner would not adjust. You could put it on 2 and it would come in and go to the hottest setting. When you turn the knob down, the heat would not go down. It would stay high. The entire burner would be lit up and burn whatever you were cooking. Now, it won't come on at all and the oven will not maintain set temperature. Purchases the 5 yr warranty so we will see how that works at Lowe's.

Burners went out/ stuck on high heat only

We have barely had this range for a year, and the bottom left burner went out completely, and then shortly after that, the 3 remaining burners only cook on high heat. Even when we turn the dials to low or medium heat, the burner itself stays on high. We bought a 5yr protection plan for this range and tried to file a claim online and it has been difficult. Do not buy this range. I paid $680 for this stupid range. It should not be this difficult to get it fixed.

Didn't last a year

3 burners don't work anymore , and the oven sometimes doesn't heat the correct temperature. For example i set it to 350 it only gets to 320..

Massive fire hazard.

The burners heat way too hot, even when you put them at level one or two. This is a very common problem in LG stoves, look it up online and see for yourself. It is a major fire hazard, and it is impossible to simmer anything.

Dangerous heat surges on self clean

Can't afford to get another stove but when using my self cleaning mode it went hotter than supposed to caused wires to burn somewhere and smoke to come up out of the oven door and knobs leaving smoke resadue. I could not turn it off or open the door. Fortunately it stoped and I haven't used the self clean since. We could have died. The air fry mode also seems to be loosing heat. You set it but it doesn't seem as fast or efficient as originally.

!!5 months of use=HUNK OF JUNK!!

We bought this stove in February of 25. It had not been used one time until the end of October 25. In March of 26, our tenant informs us that the front right burner cooks on HIGH at the lowest setting. Contacted LG and they told us that our range is out of the warranty time frame and to have a repairman come look at it would start at $425. Unreal! Already had an issue with a fridge that I bought at the same time with faulty icemaker. I will never again by another LG appliance and will make sure ...

Junk

LED lights started going out on the control panel after a little over a year. It's almost impossible to use the over because you can't tell what the temperature is.

Broken in 14 months

Front burner no longer works. Even when it did, it simply burned everything even on low/2. Dissappointed as I have almost all LG appliances, but this one is clearly a dud.

very disappointing

Burner stays in high, burns up food.

This was a great stove until one of the burners broke and stayed on high burning up the food.
