not good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought 3 appliance from LG nov. of 2021. Fridge, stove amd dishwasher. Our stove and dishwasher broke down at the same time. Need parts until now still not fix.

Complete garbage

I’m on my 3rd door seal and now my soap dispenser is sticking shut. This is by far the worst appliance I have ever owned. I would never buy another LG product again. Reading reviews on consumer reports it is clear their products are rapidly declining in quality.

Crack in the control panel

I have all LG product in my house (fridge, oven, stove, microwave and dishwasher). But I'm disappointed with the dishwasher. Two days back I noticed a small crack on the control panel. Today that crack has expanded till the START button and I noticed multiple small cracks along the length of the panel. This is very disappointing from a reputed brand like LG.

Control panel cracked in 3-4 months

I have always loved LG products but I am VERY upset and disappointed with this dishwasher. We have only had it for about 3-4 months and the control panel is cracked in 3 places! Theain crack is on the start button and if you touch it you get zapped! This dishwasher costs Way too much to be broken so soon!

Dishwasher works well....when it works!

It worked flawlessly about the first two years, then stops mid-cycle to curse and beep at me. I think I've figured out that the dishwasher door sensor doesn't sense the door is closed. Trying to find a part number is next to impossible, as is speaking with a live person at LG. My next dishwasher (which I'll need soon) will NOT be a LG. Nor will any of my other appliances.

Quite and Quality Dishwasher

I purchased my LG dishwasher July 9, 2019. It has operated consistently for over 3 years without fail. It is quiet and efficiently cleans our dishes. We are very pleased. Model LDP6797BD

LG Dishwasher

I bought this almost 5 years ago. For the most part, it has worked good and am happy with it. I am happy I bought the warranty though because the rinse dispenser leaked and had to be repaired within the first year and just in the last couple of months had to have the middle tray replaced because it was rusting out. Customer service was excellent and made sure both were resolved quickly.

great dishwasher

we bought this close to 5 years ago. this is the first time we had trouble. when repair person finally got here, fairly easy fix. so far its working great.

Working great after repair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did not know how bad it was working till the service man came out to fix it from shutting off, Last 2 weeks it has worked like a brand new unit

AWFUL!!

My dishwasher is 4 years old and completely stopped working. There is absolutely no power and electric company is saying I need to replace the control panel AND door latch. We have a new baby and are now washing all of his bottles etc. by hand as we cannot afford these repairs. An appliance of this caliber should last more than 4 years with normal everyday use. This is absolutely ridiculous and I won’t be purchasing LG again.

Not happy

I moved into my house which is four years old with all new upgraded appliances. All LG. My washer has to be replace and now my dishwasher. Repair man said it’s not worth fixing. Very disappointed.

Good Dishwasher

Have used this dishwasher for 3 years and have been very happy with it. One problem - the middle rack developed rust on the tips of many of the support bars. The dishwasher came with a 5 year warranty on the racks so LG replaced it under warranty. The Customer Service was excellent and very responsive. Overall, the dishwasher performs very well and does a great job of getting the dishes clean. It is also extremely quiet. I would definitely purchase again.

Died after 4 years

Bought a whole suite of LG appliances and the dishwasher only lasted 4 years

Disappointed - do not purchased

Purchased 11/2018. Upper rack pins are extremely corroded and bottom rack pins corroded as well.

Broken

The dishwasher lasted its 4 years old the soap door no longer works and it sounds like an airplane on takeoff.

Don’t buy it!

I bought this less than three years ago and the motor went out already. There are known issues with this model after a few searches. Steer clear.

Only 4 years old

Glad I took out the extended warranty, now if I could only get it fixed! Washer displayed a LE error code, I reset the unit by turning off the circuit breaker so I could drain the water out of the tub, as soon as I turned it back on smoke started coming out from the door. I had to use a dry vac to get the water out. LG says call the extended warranty thru Lowes, not sure why the 10 year warranty thru LG doesn't fix this since the LE code is motor. Still waiting for repair to show up, hopefully t...
