Great machine Great valve

stopped working after 2 years

Had this unit for 1.5 years when it started to beep midway through cycle...thought it was a drainage issue but hose and filters were all clean. Seems to be an electrically panel issue. Talked with LG and they were not helpful and did not offer any assistance. Will never buy LG again

Touchy front panel buttons

This is definitely the most frustrating dishwasher I've used, mostly for the fact they put touch controls on the front panel. I cant tell you how many times it has interrupted a cycle from me using the counter directly above it and accidentally hitting a button. They should never put the TOUCH controls on the front, they're ultra sensitive. It would be much better if they were physical buttons.

Good dishwasher for the price

Works well. Easy to use. Looks good and a good price for having a metal tub. Two very minor issues - The silverware caddy grid holes are a little small for silverware with large-ish handles. Fine for most "normal" sized silverware. The rods that stick up from the bottom rack are straight. I've used dishwashers where those have a little bend in them and that works somehat better.

Exceptionally quiet.

Runs extremely quiet, better than anticipate, capacity is great and cleans well. Drying could be better but then Consumers indicated it was a notch down from the best. I would definitely order this model again.

Bought new and it is a good machine, has run well- but i only run it once or twice a wk. Drawback is front panel only lights up when: power 1st turned on & have to use flashlight to do settings! It lights up when on & end of cycle. * Other drawback; no matter what setting (even xtra dry), interior still has alot of water drops all inside- i even make sure glasses, etc are inserted at angle to not retain H2o. Have to wipe a lot & keep slightly open to rid the steam- still have to wipe interior ...

So so cleaning.

I was hoping for more performance. It reall smells like oil when cleaning which i hope goes away with use. I bought this LG rather than a newer brand because LG has been around longer. Hopefully it was the right choice.

Do not purchase

I purchased this August of 2023. I had it installed by Lowes. This dishwasher stopped working entirely 5 months after the warranty expired. I am so frustrated because I believed LG was a good brand. I also read reviews that you should never buy an appliance from Lowes because they sell the cheaper version. I guess they were correct.

I’ve had this dishwasher for 2 years and 2 months, right outside the 2 year warranty. The circulation pump is now failing. Upon further research, seems like this issue is quite common that right after the 2 year mark, the pump goes. Customer service is completely useless, the only thing they’ll tell you is “you qualify for the flat rate repair” which cost $420, the price of the dishwasher itself. Buy beware- stay away from LG

Worked great until it didn't

After four years, bearings in the pump failed because of a cheap gasket. The pump is built to be replaced, not repaired. And buying a $300 pump after only four years, knowing the new only will likely last four years makes this a disappointing purchase.
