The off-the-shelf ones are ok for a male room because they only have 2 colors available. The custom cellular shades have lots of beautiful colors. I am replacing the old ones. Would RecommendThis is the second time I’ve bought these Levelor shades from Lowe’s, and they’re great! So easy to install, and the work very easily to provide privacy without totally blocking the light (unless you want the blackout ones, and those are fantastic to also keep out the sun’s heat).

Would Not RecommendMy handyman came and hung the shades today and they look great. Make sure to measure carefully! The first shades I ordered, I didn't realize the deapth needed 2 inches and my windows only had 1 inch. Lowe's let me return without any problem which is why I give Lowe's 5 stars too.
