Ratings & Reviews for LEVOLOR Trim+Go 37-in x 72-in Chalk Light Filtering Cordless Solar Roller Shade
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the light-filtering performance and heat-reducing benefits, noting the shades effectively block glare while maintaining outdoor visibility and soft, diffused daylight. Many highlight easy installation and clean, modern aesthetics that enhance rooms. However, several report significant issues: retraction mechanisms that stick or fail, in-store cutting errors resulting in shades cut too long or short, and durability concerns with spring ends breaking easily. Despite these mechanical and fit problems, most customers find the light-control benefits worthwhile, though some question long-term reliability.

Good temporary window covering
Would RecommendUsed for temporary new build while waiting for new window treatment. Easy install but make sure to tape on vinyl part of window, will not stick to painted wood trim.

Great blinds for screened porch
Would RecommendNice neutral color. Blocks the sun effectively while still letting breeze flow through and ability to still see the outdoors.

Nice neutral color and not too dark.
Would RecommendVery nice blinds that filter sunlight, but you are still able to see through them. Only problem I had was finding a store with a working machine or qualified staff in the store that could cut the blinds to the size I needed.

Retracting rolling Mechanism not working
Would Not RecommendThe material and color was a perfect match for the bathroom. The Lowes representative cut it perfectly for the window opening...however, the shade does not roll-up properly, I have to literally remove the shade to manually "roll-up" the shade...that is unacceptable....

ok value for the price, but not high quality
Would Not RecommendThe product looks good on the window for the price, but the instructions were difficult to follow and we ended up screwing it in slightly wrong, which makes it hard to lower. Also the spring isn't great and gets off kilter pretty often. There is a fix for that you can find online which does work, but its annoying to have to re-set the spring so frequently.

Does not retract
Would Not RecommendThe shade material is fine but it does not retract at all. I have to literally take it off the mount to manually re-roll it up every time. Not worth it.

Not great
Would Not RecommendThe shade does not roll all the way up. If your window is smaller than the standard size, you have to get it cut instore. The people at 2 Lowe’s near me don’t know how to operate the machine and end up damaging the shade.
Alex, I'm sorry that you have run into these issues. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The shade can be returned to the retailer if i... Read More
Great cost effective option
Would RecommendThese shades were a great cost effective option for our large windows. I love that we can see outside but have privacy from outside. I’m not sure if they were not cut the exact correct length in store for inside mount but they didn’t work with the hardware included. I had to purchase additional hardware but it was still very user friendly.
Solar indoor shade.
Love these for blocking blinding rays, but still allowing soft light. The shadow gray is soft and classic.
