Great blackout blind!

I bought this a couple of weeks ago because we needed a blackout blind. Great blind, easy to follow instructions. I did not cut. I needed a blind for a 72 inch wide window. The guys in very helpful to mark the holes. In terms of blackout, it does the job. No cords to mess with. I cannot speak about insulation.

Positive for light leaks

Purchased in the 72 x 72 size for a window with width 70.75". I showed my measurements to store employee and they used the in-store machine to cut the blinds. I installed according to directions using the guide provided on the box. There are light leaks - both along the sides and the top of the blinds. Not enough of a problem for me to take everything down and try to resolve in store but just be aware if you are very sensitive to light and looking for a true blackout this may not be the ideal ...

Questionable quality

I've had these shades for just over one month. The short two on the outside are fine, but this 72-inch in the middle of the photo is already sagging when the shades are open. It always sagged a bit and I just assumed it was due to being heavier because of the longer length, but the sag keeps getting worse. The cord management system doesn't seem to be designed to hold the weight of the longer shades. I'm starting to wonder how long it will be before I can no longer open this shade.

Great Quality Product!

The blinds are a replacement for ones I had installed years ago that have resently failed. So this was an easy install, they are way better quality, they go up and down smoothly. Look great too!!

Very pleased

Much better sleep with the blackouts. Bought them to replace my levolor light filtering shades. Used utube to figure out how to exchange them. Did not have to change the hardware! Took 5 minutes. Saved the light filtering shades as I might switch back during short light days. We’ll see. Wish I had done this sooner.
