Would not purchase the silver handled paring knife again
I absolutely love the performance of the paring knife but would not purchase this again with the silver handle. I have had this knife for a year but it is beginning to leave a black residue on my veggies, in particular the potatoes when I cut them. I have several of the black handled knives and have had no issues with them. This really is a great knife but the handle is shedding something and not what I expect from any product.
