What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this paring knife for its razor-sharp edge that stays keen for decades, perfect ergonomic design, and exceptional durability. Many describe it as their go-to knife for peeling, slicing, and delicate tasks, with the curved blade enabling controlled cuts that larger knives cannot match. Reviewers with small hands, arthritis, or limited strength highlight the lightweight, contoured design as uniquely comfortable and pain-free. Most customers express deep loyalty, replacing their entire knife collections after trying this one and gifting it to friends and family. Granny pairing knife
Wow, my best friend Cathy in WV GAVE me my first ever Rada Granny pairing knife. I just peeled 5 lbs of potatoes, like it was nothing, totally effortless. I am so impressed and so I just had to say, thank you for making a quality product and in the USA.

Easy to use for small items
This little reverse curved paring knife is great for cutting small items held in your hand. I used it for the first time to cut a bruised spot out and then slice a small unpeeled apple. It was very handy and sharp. I do have to be careful to not get tricked into holding it with the sharp side up, though, because it is curved differently from my other knives. I also bought one for a friend. I like the black handles which aren't damaged if they go in the dishwasher, although I try to wash my knive...

LOVE Rada
I love EVERYTHING Rada! From the knife sharpener (which is my absolute FAVORITE of any) to the granny paring knife to the cooks knife. They are all the best in my opinion.

Great for grafting too
The Rada Granny is one of my three go-to knives in the kitchen. However, it has become my favorite for grafting fruit trees and bushes as well. The size and the curve of the blade make it easier to get precise cuts on scion wood twigs necessary to get good contact with the rootstock. After grafting it cleans up slick and easy and goes back in the kitchen rack. I'll probably have to buy a spare, just to have another one handy.

so versatile
I absolutely love this knife- but i use it to process chickens. That sharp little tip makes delicate fileting or even more radical moves function with ease. I am a most successful farm wife with this little beauty.I think because I have small hands this knife is a better fit for me than the more elaborate filet knives men like to use. I can control it and it is so sharp it requires little effort on my part. So glad my grandparents introduced me to Rada knives over 30 years ago.

Slices through fresh ginger root precisely and easily.
Just picked up this little paring knife at a Craft Show. Tried it on a piece of ginger root which can be tough to cut without a really sharp knife. This little parer is just what I was looking for! So happy to have found it as my other paring knives have lost their edge. I'll be ordering more as gifts and backups.

Granny Paring knife
I bought one of these knives many years ago at a kitchen store. This IS my Go-To knife for many cutting jobs in my kitchen. It's the first one I look for in my cutlery drawer because its small lightweight and easy to handle and retains its edge. It pares and slices like a dream . Thought I lost it one time and went back to the store to buy another. Now I have 2.

We love the Granny Paring knife! I had ordered one a few years ago, and took this opportunity to add two more as we use them every day.

I have a DO NOT TOUCH rule on this knife and my Tomato Slicer knife!
My mom and Grand Moms all had the standard paring knives bought through church fundraisers. I found the the Granny Paring Knife and the Tomato Slicer knives 20+ yrs ago and they became my "Go To" knives. I have them stashed in nearly family member's kitchen so they are handy for me and I have given them as gifts. I also appreciate that they are made in America. They hold their edge fairly well as long as they aren't used as screwdrivers and other not intended uses. I prefer the alu...
