Would RecommendWhen I got married 30 years ago, I had received my first set of Farberware pots and pans and I absolutely loved them. About 8 or 10 years ago, I ended up getting a different set of pots and pans because the 8 qt Farberware pot had started to split at the seam (I had always washed it in the dishwasher which is what caused the split). The 2nd set just didn't stand up to the Farberware, so I went ahead and bought the 4 and 8 qt pots and they are just as I remembered - Love them!!

I love this stockpot. The
I love this stockpot. The size is perfect. It isn’t too narrow as some are. And I really like the fact that it is not too heavy. Perfect for boiling my spaghetti!

My second set of Farberware
Would RecommendI bought my first Farberware set in 1966. Now I have a glass top electric range and it is time for a new set. The new pots and pan are so sparkling and shinny. They heat up fast and cook all meals evenly. They are so easy to clean. Of course the old pots are saved for special coking like my "jam" pot.

Perfect size for a retired couple of 2
Would RecommendNo complaints! I was given the larger pot which is great for large recipes of soup and works great if our adult children and their spouses come for a pot of homemade soup or I need to boil 2 bags of noodles. But I bought this for just my husband and I and it prevents me from making toooooo muchhhh! LOL

Think twice before purchase
Would Not RecommendVery disappointed. I had a 5 qt one that was over 25 years old but needed to replace it because the handles were falling apart. Now I wish I could have just gotten new handles instead. The first time I used it it had burn stains from the hard boiled eggs I made. Used it a second time and has white spots on the inside bottom. Used it a third time and has brown rings on the inside and more brown spots on the inside bottom and a couple on the outside bottom as well. I was very disappointed in this ...

Nice size but defective
Would Not RecommendNice size but defective. I love the size of this pot but the inside finish is chipping. I have other pots that I have bought and do not have this issue. Hoping this is just a defect and that FaberWare does right by me as these pots are not cheap.

Best Cooking Ever
Would RecommendI have used Farberware for over 38 years. The first time I cooked in this pot, the food did not stick, nor burn, as I knew that it would not. Clean up was easy. I'm still looking for the 10 inch saute fry pan. Can you help me?????

Induction Compatible Classic Stainless
Would RecommendReplaced my original Faberware aluminum pots with the stainless which are induction compatible. Unfortunately the dimensions of the new 8qt pot is different than the original aluminum pot and the strainer didn’t fit. Exchanged for the 8qt pot with the strainer top. Very happy.

Trusted pots
Would RecommendI bought this for my granddaughter because of the joy mine has brought me over these many years. It arrived on time and looks just like mine. The only issue I can see is that it is lighter in weight than mine. She likes it though.

Lasts a lifetime
Would RecommendI love my Farberware pots that I purchased! I had a set for 39 years and had to give them away (they were in perfect condition) because they weren't compatible with my induction stove top. I just bought a new set that are compatible and I am so happy I did. They are so durable yet not too heavy. I bought the 2 quart, 4 quart, 6 and 8 quart.

Quality issues?
Would Not RecommendDeveloped multiple rust spots inside after washing in the dishwasher after a single use. Seems like the stainless steel needs to be passivated better. My mother's Farberware set is still spotless after 40 years of use. Quality has definitely dropped.

Think twice before buying.
I wanted a 2nd 8-qt stock pot like this one that I already had. However, the sides in the inside of the pot are not smooth. You can run your fingernail across them and feel the lines of the steel. It will be hard to keep clean. I received a replacement pot from the company, but it was the same inside as the one I had to send back to them. Not real happy with it.

Classic Product line is THE BEST!
Would RecommendFirst and foremost, I love Faberware! The quality and product lines are bar-none. My favorite is the Classic Stainless Steel. The design is ideal for making soup and storing leftovers. It's also perfect for cooking roasts. I also purchased a glass lid for those occasions when I need to make certain nothing boils over or the liquid evaporates.
