Works as expected... nice to have switch for light and outlet for power tools in basement...

poor quality

this switch came apart as i tried to attach the wires. the face is only held in place by small bits of the plastic body.

Switch receptacle combo

Bought one and installed and switch was made all the time would not switch on/off. Went Bach to Lowes got a second one and when tightened in box same thing happened but if did not tighten in the box it worked fine.

Frustrated

After spending 3 hours installing and troubleshooting I had to replace this bad switch and reinstall. You need to test your products before putting them on the market.

Nice dual function switch and outlet

I purchased this device for a wiring project but returned it as I didn't need the outlet part of it for the project.

Duplex Wall Outlet

It did exactly as I wanted. The enclosed wiring schematic was a little confusing but, probably, only or a "novice" like me.

Cheap, Cheap, DO NOT BUY

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Face plate not attached properly. Installed, and removed center screw to put on wall plate. The entire front exploded into the room, literally.. parts everywhere. GARBAGE!!!!!!!

No surprises and perfect for the job at hand

The 15-Amp receptacle is plainly evidenced by NEMA chart, and anyone walking the aisle at Lowes should notice that 20A and 15A receptacles are easily distinguished at first glance. upon taking it out of box I found the housing was separating had to stop the job and run to another supplier to pick up a replacement. returned this unit for a refund.

Great switch

I replaced some older almond color switches with the new white ones. They look and perform much better.

Very Poor Quality

Bought two of these at the local Lowe's store to replace existing switches. Wish I had read these reviews before I made the purchase. These combo switches are absolute junk. Connected the wires and while pushing the wires back into the box, the switch broke in half! Not from pushing on the switch, but from the miniscule amount of forward pressure exerted by the wires on the terminals. Very Poor Construction - Steer Clear

While attaching the common wire to this outlet, the entire white plastic face broke off the housing. I returned the unit and exchanged it for another, thinking that it was just a one-off manufacturing issue. I had no better luck with the second one. Two of the plastic tabs that secures the plastic face to the housing snapped off upon the first turn of the common screw. After further inspection, one more of the four tabs appeared to be cracked. Handle the need

Purchase a 2person sauna ,installation said to unplug it after each use.thought that was silly .i don't unplug my frig.my stero .so l put In a line and this plug/switch to Handle this requirement

Needed a combo switch/outlet, this fit the bill.

I replaced a regular power outlet with this and added me a circuit off it to add some under cabinet lights. This worked perfect for what I needed. Seemed a bit pricey at $7-8 compared to a standard 15 amp switch at $1-2, but I guess you pay for convenience.

Fell apart during installation

This is pretty basic item which just fell apart as I installed it. The plastic tab that hold metal bracket on are to small and broke off, which then allowed the entire unit to come apart. I returned this item and purchased a like product , different brand from another store. The replacement had a much better design.
