The little thing break.

This is my 3rd part in 3 years for this door. I dont know, i gave this a 6 but odd parts keep breaking on my larson door. So far i have needed to replace the closer, then a braket and am now on my second latch mechanism. I didnt need the handle, screws or anything else but had to spend 60 dollars to get the latch whuch i was told at Lowes i can not buy alone. If I had to do it again, I don't know if i would buy a larson door due to the smaller parts I have had to replace.

Twist to lock.

The door handle and mechanism work perfectly. My original handle and door was white. I could not find a white handle so I put the nickel finish one on. It was extremely easy to install. I have a little difficulty turning the lock from inside. It may just be me, but my original had an up/down latch that was easy to lock and unlock. The new one has a twist type lock that seems too close to the door frame and I find it cumbersome to turn. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. All in all it’s...

Just what I needed

Product was a direct replacement making install a breeze. Product has a quality fit and finish. Between the ease of install and the fit and finish I would say it was worth every penny.

Made it work to update an old door

We had a tough time finding a replacement handle for a very old Larson storm door. This should have fit per the specifications on the Lowes website, but we ended up having to drill one extra small hole to make this one fit.

Larson door handle

It was replaced without any problem. But it needs to be at all Lowes b/c we couldn't find it at White Oak Lowes. Had to go to the Chester Lowes. This lock is about 3yrs old. We will see how long this one works. Glad it was available.

Larson Door products are high quality.

The lock is high quality. It is a key lock which prevents a possible lockout with a sliding lock.

Could be better

The outside handle has a lot of play. It seems everything is so cheaply made these days. I’ve replaced this handle 4 times in 20 yrs. I guess I should know better by now. It’s just snaps off. I’m always left with the handle in my hand.
