Would RecommendI purchased a Larson Storm door in August through Lowe’s online. It was super simple to do, and even though it was a special order, the delivery time was within a couple of weeks, and the in-store pickup was easy and convenient. Love the door due to the perfect fit and finish. Very happy with every aspect of this purchase.

Door slams
Would Not RecommendI had this door professionally installed. Upon install, we noticed it slammed. Adjusting the "Hidden Closer" did nothing. I called Larson, they are sending me a "Hidden Closer" replacement. Hoping this fixes the problem. Luckily, nobody has been hurt yet.

No caulk needed
The installation was easy and quick. I have installed over a dozen storm doors on my own and others homes. This door did not require additional caulk or other materials to make it weather tight. I also like that the fasteners are "hidden", making a cleaner look. If I had to give the door one ding it would be the threshold, although it has "adjustments" to make it fit most openings, I do not feel it truly works for my home.

Door is not leveled
Would Not RecommendWe recently installed the door and leveled our frame perfectly and the door hangs slanted down and scrapes at the bottom. This should be plug and play but the door itself is slanted / sagging at the hinges where it latches so the lower left hand corner scrapes at the bottom and is uneven at the top as well. For the price we expected better quality.

Disappointment
Would RecommendWe were super excited to have a storm door installed by Lowe’s. However, turned into a nightmare. Constant Issues
Would Not RecommendDefinitely do not buy this door. it was difficult to install. After a few weeks it started to slam, so we adjusted it. Now it slams hard enough to hurt family members with no option left except to replace a part that costs 1/3 of the total door price. It looks great, but not worth the hassle and injuries.

The closer doesn't last!
Would Not RecommendHad this door for about 3 years and it started just slamming closed. There's only a 1 year warranty on mechanical parts, so I'm on my own. I do facilities work for a living and know how closers work, so I figured I would pop it out, adjust it, refill the oil, etc. and pop it back in since these are usually at least reasonably serviceable. Nope. This is completely non-user serviceable to the point of having the caps crimped after being screwed in, so it's almost impossible to even try and the on...

The top part slides down easily
Would Not RecommendI would not buy this product. The top part of the door does not stay up all the time. I've opened my kitchen door to find the top part of the storm door partially opened, when it had been fully closed the night before. It's also a safety concern for me as a woman.
