What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the solid construction, quick installation under 30 minutes, and secure triple-locking mechanism. The retractable screen, weatherseal, and full-view glass are frequently highlighted as practical features. However, a significant group reports serious door closer failures, with the plastic damper slamming shut or breaking within months. Some encounter minor installation quirks like hinge confusion or frame misalignment. Despite the closer issues, most customers consider the durable build and thoughtful design worthwhile.

Package came with missing instructions and hardware, broken spacers. It was heavy and impossible to level and after installation there are gaps underneath and between the door and frame

Perfect purchase

Would Recommend

I purchased a Larson Storm door in August through Lowe’s online. It was super simple to do, and even though it was a special order, the delivery time was within a couple of weeks, and the in-store pickup was easy and convenient. Love the door due to the perfect fit and finish. Very happy with every aspect of this purchase.

Door slams

Would Not Recommend

I had this door professionally installed. Upon install, we noticed it slammed. Adjusting the "Hidden Closer" did nothing. I called Larson, they are sending me a "Hidden Closer" replacement. Hoping this fixes the problem. Luckily, nobody has been hurt yet.
