Would RecommendThis door knob was used on an interior door that separated same family space. The knob was easy to install, and it took about ten minutes. It has a very nice appearance, and it matches most nickel products, either satin or brushed. I have not yet tried the key, but the locking mechanism works fine.

Poor quality and quality control is lacking
Would Not RecommendWe used Kwikset doorknobs (in brushed nickel) in our previous home and were happy with them. Six years later we purchased the same knobs in polished brass for a different home and not only has the overall quality gone down, the quality control is poor, to say the least. Of the 6 sets we purchased, all 6 showed some level of discoloration and/or dings. Some of them turned with ease, some were too tight and hard to turn.
