Attractive, easily rekeyable entry set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwikset and Influenster sent us the Kwikset 242 Cove Keyed Entry Knob and Single Cylinder Deadbolt Project Pack with Smartkey Security in Venetian Bronze in exchange for our honest opinion. Works well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced the old doorknobs and deadbolts on our front door with these and they really look and feel nice. I like the smartkey option on them too. That way we were able to have the keys for our front and back doors match. Easy to install as well!

Very sturdy, beautiful, and convienient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These locks and doorknobs are quite hefty and clearly very high quality. The coloring is beautiful and appears well made- not just a patina that will weather off. My husband easily installed them, so if you are reasonably handy you wont need to hire a locksmith. Another reason you wont need a locksmith is because of the genius smartkey feature. There is some magic they put inside the locks that allows the owner to rekey them in whatever sit...

Super easy and convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pleased with this Smartkey doorknob and deadbolt set. While there are technically 4 locks total, it is just 2 exterior door sets if you use both a knob and deadbolt together. That’s pretty evident though. Rekeying is is very easy with only a few steps and the rekey shim is included. The included instructions are very easy to follow. If I had to change anything I would like to have a couple of extra keys instead of just the 2 smart keys. W...

Great color and features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great project kit for upgrading two exterior doors. The Venetian bronze is a beautiful color and goes really well. I’m no expert at installing, so I’m having my dad do it. The pieces and parts are all included in the kit, and I love the features of being able to change the keys easily if needed. A solid set for anyone needing to upgrade hardware on their outdoor doors!
