Good value for the price.

I had another version of Komelon tape measure and it over extended at twenty three feet, it was supposed to be a twenty five foot tape measure. This unit will not get extended beyond the twenty foot mark to to ensure it lasts. I have been wanting to get an SAE/Metric tape measure and now I have one.

Was about to give up when i saw that this one measures both standard and metric lengths

Weak holding system.

Have only had a short time and have found that the tape tension is weak. The tape will pull itself in at long distances or if the extended end of the tape is tapped/hits something, it will pull back into the housing.

Good tape if you need metric.

Purchased it for the dual measures which worked well for the project I was doing that had measurements primarily in metric. The tape lock mechanism is very fidgety and wasn’t very effective. Otherwise the tape measure was okay. Would not purchase as primary tape otherwise.

Design is 180 out from normal - that’s good!

Interesting approach to tape measure. It automatically locks when you pull out the tape. You then push the button to reel it in. Took a moment to get used to this approach but it is very functional.

26 ft standard / metric tape measure

A great buy because it has both standard and metric scales on both sides of the tape measure. When you buy on line many items are in metric. New cars use metric fasteners. New roof shingles are sized in metric. Canada uses metric. US slowly has to get use to using both scales.I like tape auto lock feature, which is push to release instead push to lock. This is 26 ft instead of 25 ft because this is a metric tape. All the other local tool suppliers did not have metric tape. Bought more than one ...

Easy for one person

The fact that the tape automatically stays out, you don’t have to pull the length and then lock it, and it’s not flimsy makes this the best and easiest tape measure I’ve ever used, and makes it much easier to use for one person- no need to have someone holding in the other end
