Slightly better string replacement theory
Would Not RecommendOut of the box, the string fed once, then seemed to be getting stuck together. Tried disassembling the head and feeding manually, but this didn’t work any better and the whole head contraption flew apart. The manual is useless as the directions ended up with the original factory provided string protruding from the spool on only one side. Time to find the receipt for a refund.

Would Not Recommendthis trimmer is fine until you need more line. I had to take the cap off multiple times, then the lines came unraveled and i have spent the last hour getting eaten by mosquitos trying to get the line fed correctly. the manual is trash and only talks about the battery.

Would Not RecommendLast kobalt 24 volt trimmer lasted about 5 years then won’t run. Looks like new just dead can’t get parts. Purchased a new 24 volt it’s the same other than the trimmer head. It’s impossible to reload the string by turning the knob. Finally took off and reloaded manually like old style. Took a few times off and on to get it to advance line. Trimmer is fine but the trimmer head is junk.
