Not worth it.

For the money, you’re way better off spending a few more and getting the 48v version of this. There isn’t much power on the 24v. The battery life is as expected while using. It will drain the 4ah battery that’s included pretty quickly though so if you have a large area to go over then you’ll need to have extra batteries to finish it unless you want to wait for the battery to charge back up. The feeder works fine but the position of the handle is not ideal which will cause fatigue fairly quickly

Amazing Weed Wacker!!!

I bought this Cobalt Weed Wacker 3 weeks ago and it worked amazingly. It is powerful and sturdy and did a great job of clearing weeds close to the skirting of my house. It is a powerful machine that keeps a charge for a long time. Definitely recommend!!

Forget about reloading the twine

Engineers love to go with theory rather than practicability. If anyone has found a way to reload the twine with their new system, I’d love to hear it. The twine will immediately jam and won’t hold tension because of the way you need to wind it, can’t even do it manually because the clips get in the way. Avoid this new design at all costs. (Also, all I own is Kobalt lawn equipment. It’s that bad.)

My string trimmer plastic spool cap needs to be replaced. I cannot find the exact part for this model. Does anyone know where I can find this replacement piece?

no replacement head

This trimmer worked for awhile, although the bump feature was a joke. Line would not extend. Took it apart, removed the old line, put in new line (what fun), snapped it together. Again it worked for awhile, then I only had one line and couldn't get the other one to work. Plus it was heavy for 79 yr. old.

Garbage

Avoid this brand it’s extremely difficult to replace the trimmer line so basically it’s garbage

Slightly better string replacement theory

Out of the box, the string fed once, then seemed to be getting stuck together. Tried disassembling the head and feeding manually, but this didn’t work any better and the whole head contraption flew apart. The manual is useless as the directions ended up with the original factory provided string protruding from the spool on only one side. Time to find the receipt for a refund.

L9ved it really powerful,cuts the edges really deep and doesn't make a lot of noise like other brands I used to have.

impossible to reload

this trimmer is fine until you need more line. I had to take the cap off multiple times, then the lines came unraveled and i have spent the last hour getting eaten by mosquitos trying to get the line fed correctly. the manual is trash and only talks about the battery.

Starts and Stops

Bought this less than 3 months ago. Went to use it last week and it will start and immediately turn off. It is not the battery because I have a Kobalt blower and it works fine in it.
