Choking me out, but I liked it…

I bought this as a second generator during an ice storm while I had non power. It worked well and it ran it for several days straight through. Only concern I had is that I could not run it with the choke all the way closed and the pulley was very loose. At the end of the day, it worked and it was reliable.

Works, drama free

It was -17 degrees Fahrenheit when the power went out and our fairly new big fancy push button generator wouldn't start. We went to Lowes right when they opened and bought this Kobalt pull cord generator. We pulled it out of the box, paused to read the instructions never fear, fueled it up and it started immediately. It is powerful enough to run the winter essentials - well pump and furnace fans plus lights and the microwave.

Bought for a snow storm just in case was told we could bring it back if not opened by the cashier tried to bring back 4 days after purchase and they said i couldnt cause it was longer than 2 days since purchase

Great value for the money

Great packaging, easy assembly, nice looking unit. Fired with propane almost immediately, pretty quiet and stable when running. Haven’t run gas yet, maybe never will. Bought for recent snow storm but didn’t need it, glad I have one for future that’s ready to go. You can store propane indefinitely but never indoors.

Easy to use. Started on second pull. Used for 3 days during the ice storm. Ran fridge, freezer, electric heater, several lights, several appliances , and tv with no issues.

A Nice Unit For Medium to Light-Heavy Duty Use

The generator is built strong, easy to start and runs great. The power output is as rated. The main thing with all gas generators is either use non-ethanol fuel (or LPG) or turn fuel off and let run dry for short periods of no use. For long periods drain fuel and run dry. Follow manual for long term storage.

Pro: Quick delivery. Easy to set-up and operate. Power output great for the essentials. Con: Unit is louder than expected. Engine break-in information insufficient.

Seems to be a solid machine

Set up required two, but it was clear cut and easy to do. No problems encountered. It seems very solid and it cranked on the first try. I have not had to use it yet for replacement power, so here's hoping it works well going forward.
