What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this compact chainsaw for its exceptional cutting power and lightweight design, with most highlighting its ability to slice through 4-6 inch branches with ease and surprising efficiency for its size. Reviewers consistently emphasize how easy it is to handle for overhead trimming and awkward angles, noting it reduces fatigue compared to full-size alternatives. Many appreciate the battery-powered convenience and long runtime. A small group mentions that chain oil is not included and a few note the safety switch design feels awkward, but these concerns remain isolated against the strong positive consensus.

Small But Mighty!
Would RecommendI love the size and ease of use. I'm a small person and can't operate a standard chainsaw. The size is perfect. It is lightweight enough I can operate it with one hand. It was used all day and still had two bars left on the battery.

Excellent Little Saw
Would RecommendThis little saw is great. I literally wore my first one out and had to replace it. It made it through 5 years of hard use and abuse. If you own kobalt tools this saw is definitely a have to have.

this thing is great!
Would Recommendso this thing is absolutely awesome for pruning small trees. I only have 2 minor complaints. emptying the chain oil to store it isn't super easy, and it doesn't have a top handle to push down with while you saw to stabilize it so it's a bit awkward using both hands.
Perfect
Would RecommendLove it. Works great, got a lot done on a single charge. Easy to use.

Awesome Small Chainsaw
Would RecommendThis saw is exactly what I have wanted for a long time but could not find one that seemed to be serious quality. I have always found Lowe's KOBALT tool to be very good and I have several hand and powered KOBALT tools. When I saw this at Lowe's I bought one. I liked it so much I bought a second one to keep at our country cabin. It has plenty of power and I used it quite a while and did not need to recharge the battery. It's size and weight make it easy to cut above your head. Easier and faster ...
