Easy to use

Used it yesterday for the first time and it did the job of unclogging my tub on the first attempt, which is tricky because I have to use the bathroom sink pipe to unclog the tub. I like the auto feed feature. So far so good.

because I have a really bad experience I get wrong size then was trying return to Lowes but they said can't return for safety and health .I understand but never ever was open the box just walked away from the store at parking lot come back into the store...but they say can't take..funny still I have in the box

Motor failed during first use

Auger motor sparked and failed during first use. Unable to return. Awaiting reply from patrsplus@Lowes.com. Can not recommend

Worth the upgrade

Bought this bad boy after my handheld Kobalt auger stopped feeding correctly. I had the kind that you can attach a power drill to or use the hand crank. It was always kind of gimmicky. This thing feels like a real tool though. The electric motor is powerful and fast. The feeder engagement is much simpler and more substantial than the one on the handheld. Amazing Machine

This tool is amazing. I was wasting time with manual and drill powered snakes that would jam up. This machine has the power and auto feed. Unclogged my drain quickly!

Cool gadget

This did the job for my tub. My tub was clogged with hair and other stuff and this really helped it.

No parts available

Snake part is damaged. Out of warranty but called kobalt to buy a replacement snake but they do not sell parts for this product.

Horrible product

I would give negative stars if I could!! I bought this Kobalt electric auger yesterday. I brought it home, plugged it in, let it run to test it, and immediately the engine sparked and smoke came out. It blew the electric power in my house. I returned it right away. Do not buy this!!!!!!!

No muscle needed

50ft length a plus compared to some other models.

Works as designed. The 50ft length is definately a plus. Not a bad price as I expected it to be more.
