Bought these bits to drill 4 holes in galvanized tubing and ended going to get Milwaukee bits that took all of two seconds to drill. I will not use these bits for anything but a doorstop

Terrible Case

So far, the drill bits have been okay. One broke, but It was one of the small ones. The really bad part is the case they come in. The little yellow latches that hold the bit holders in place are absolute garbage. They constantly come loose and allow the bit holders to move, which causes the bits to dump out in the case. Also, the black latch on the outside pops off almost every time I open it. I would not recommend this.

Not sharp even out of the box

I was very disappointed in these bits. They are not sharp enough to drill through oak or pine. Even the larger bits just throw out smoke. The are not a good investment.

The drill bits are great & a lot of projects

Broke 2 bits within seconds

Absolutely useless. Drilling mild steel with little pressure, they didn't bite and 2 of the bits broke that were 1.4 thick, so no excuse. Stay far far far away from these, another terrible product from Kobalt.

Comically bad

These bits are so bad it's actually funny. I seat them in a drill, spin them and think "oh, I didn't seat it correctly." But oh, no. The runout is that bad on every bit. It's almost like they were intentionally bent. add to that the worst designed case ever and I've dropped this mess in the trash.

Horrible

So I've used these on metal exactly twice. Both times I was simply putting a hole in thin aluminum square tubing. The bit snapped both times even with relatively low pressure. I've had a small old crummy Ryobi set for 10 years and I've only had 1 bit break in that time. These Kobalt bits are the most brittle bits I've probably ever seen.

More like Snap Off

Brittle metal that broke on first use. It was being used in soft pine and not even metal. Now I have to go all the way back to the store to return what I thought was a good brand.

Off Brand Quality

Debated going with this brand but the bits works great and the case is perfect for storage!
