Works great with my mini-driver

my mini-driver doesn't have a traditional chuck so I can't use regular bits to drill. This kit makes it useful for those small jobs without having to get out the bigger drill and bit set.

Brand new set and 3 bits broke within seconds.

Never buy Kobalt anything ever again. Opened the pack and broke 3 bit with the first couple seconds of drilling.

These are barely used, but so far two of them have broken. Next time I guess I’ll have to pay more for another brand. I like the hex shank to keep the bit from spinning, but I expect that that is causing the bit to snap when it binds in the wood. It’s a trade off – I’ll need to be more mindful of the material I’m using them on.

Zero quality

Tried to drill through 1/4” mild steel and bits quickly dulled; when pressed harder to attempt to cut bits broke. Changed to an old high-speed steel drill bit I had used many times it cut through the material like butter. Suffering buyers remorse.b

Poor quality, bits break fast

I bought this set on sale, thought it looked good and I like the screw bits it includes. Unfortunately the bits started breaking right away, specfically the small ones. Spend a couple extra bucks and get DeWalt or another brand

Lowes always fails me when I need them most

These bits are complete garbage. almost all of them have broken. I was in my attic with about 6 inches of clearance trying to drill through a stinking TWO BY FOUR and the largest bit in the pack BROKE. In a 2x4??!?!?! Complete junk. If they spent less time and money on the stupid caring case these bits come in, they might have enough recourse to make a bit that is worth using. such a dissappointment

Bought these today for a simple home project. We planned to attach plant hangers to thin wall pipe broke the first 2 we used. Needless to say these are going back to the store. Very disappointed I have liked Kobalt in the past but this was an aweful purchase. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Spend the extra $10 and buy another brand

Have had 4 bits break drilling soft wood. The holder as others have described is worthless as well. Gues we get what we pay for.

Poorly made, bit broke off in drywall

For my very first use, I drilled a hole in drywall and gently used the bit to ream the hole slightly larger. To my surprise and disappointment it immediately snapped at the base. I've never seen this type of behavior before in a drill bit. Very poor quality indeed.

Kobalt shouldn't be in business.

I have a set of their titanium bits. The individual bits are not labeled. It takes a heavy duty pair of pliers to get a bit out o the container. They should be ashamed to market drill bits.

Cheaply Priced, and Poorly Made.

I bought these because I needed an additional set of hex shank bits that could quickly snap into my Wera bit holder. I knew they were inexpensive, but considering I bought a similar set from HF Tools years ago for less, and they are still working in great shape, I didn't expect these to break on me so easily. Handy for cordless drills

I had purchased a DeWalt cordless drill at Lowes, and the quick release Kobalt driver bits worked great, but I needed some drill bits also. This set was on sale in the post-Thanksgiving period, and seemed to be what I needed. The set has worked well.
