Does what i bought it to do

I home brew beer and needed a socket to remove the posts on corny kegs. This socket does the job and was cheaper than the sockets I could find online. Works on both 12 point and regular posts. Only complaint was difficulty removing the retail packaging.

The right tool gets the job done

Needed this socket for several large nuts on my RV tow bar. Tried different tools to get it loose to no avail. Once I bought the socket and came back home, the nuts came loose in seconds. I wanted a 6 point socket but I guess Lowes doesn't carry one. I can use the 12 point but the 6 would have completed my set.

This deep socket was purchased to use in installing the sparkplug in my "better" lawnmower. Using a wrench it was easy to cross-thread or even crack the top part of the plug. This is a 12-point socket ... which lends itself to working in close spaces where ratcheting swing may be limited, which is an overall plus. Mower-friendly socket

I purchased a spark plug for my mower, but none of my wrenches were large enough to fit the base of the spark plug. I was also looking for some way to make sure I didn't cross-thread when I put it in. This 13/16 deep socket was just the ticket for a J19LM lawnmower spark plug. The nice part is that the size is etched into the side,rather than stamped-in where the stamping would fill up with dirt.
