I bought the 1/2 impact socket set that has this 14mm socket in it and I’ve never had any problems with the sockets breaking or becoming disfigured. I’ve had them for a little over two years and I use them at work (I work at a dealership so they get used often). A coworker of mine bought impact sockets of a tool truck and they cracked within two months. I highly recommend these impact sockets.

Worked like a chat

I purchased the deep well to use in removing wheel lug nuts. The lugs were somewhat recessed and were difficult to put a regular socket on them to remove and start them on the threads. The deep well worked perfectly.

Kobalt Sockets.

Picked up a new to me used car. Lug nuts we’re 17mm. I already had 19, 21, and 22 mm for other cars. Always served me well, price was right. Pleased with purchase. And super pleased with my Kobalt tool set from 2 years ago. The $300 one where the tools all come in the foam type organizer trays. Fit right in my tool chest drawers. Super easy to find/stay organized.

Great addition to my garage!

Just refinished my garage just in time to do some work on my car. I needed to remove both wheels but the car was already on jack stands. I didn't yet have a 1/2" impact wrench so I picked up the Kobalt 1/2" cordless wrench (tool only, to go with my other Kobalt 3/8" impact and batteries) and this 21mm socket to remove the lug nuts. Worked great with the new impact and plenty of power to break loose, even with the wheels being tightened with a shop air tool.

Does what it should

Strong, fits 1/2 inch drive. stronger than the HarBer Fraight original.

I have been using this with my HF 1/2" flex ratchet to take off my wheels and put them back on my car and it's been working just fine. I like the fact that I can actually see the number on these, but I would also like to see them stamped because I know that over time laser etching can disappear. Oh and the best part is that it was affordable.

I've always had great results with Kobalt tools, this impact socket is no different. Does what it's supposed to do. Used it to fix an old 2004 Ford Focus.

Broke two non impact sockets both 12 point also.

Will be buying full set of six pint impact sockets both request depth and deep.

This is it

A tough socket that will not shatter. Bought this for my car's brake job. Hex caliper bolts could be removed easily. The 6-point socket works way better than a 12-point socket for serious auto works.

Perfect fit

Got a stubborn bolt to break loose with this and a long handle ratchet. Inexpensive and very durable.
