Worked great on an unusual nut on wheel backplate
I had a 1 1/8 inch nut on my 68 Chevy pickup that I couldn’t remove. I used this impact socket with large breaker bar and pipe wrench on the back and got it off. Socket is still in great shape.

The right size for water heater anode.
Would RecommendHot-water tanks have a sacrificial anode that dissolve away over time (usually several years). You'll need this size socket to remove it - you'll more than likely need an impact wrench and/or a breaker bar to remove the anode.

Would RecommendBought to use with my pneumatic ratchet. Haven't used with it yet but have used the socket with regular ratchet and these things are heavy duty. Very satisfied.
