Love these locking pliers. Good price . Nice durable materials used for the construction of the handles .

Decent locking pliers
Would RecommendNot vice grip quality, but then again, these have a different design which makes them useful for unlocking them. They hold tight and that's the main thing

Great to have in small spaces
Would RecommendGreat working pliers that are an improvement over the original design.

Poor design/quality
Would Not RecommendI have a number of Kobalt hand tools but no more. These locking pliers seemed sturdy until I used them. As I applied pressure the rubber grips came off in my hand and the slide lock disengaged. It happened over and over again. I cannot tell you how disappointed and angry I am. I have a lot of tools and was hoping to refresh my collection of hand and power tools with Kobalt but I will not take a chance on buying Kobalt again. I will stick with name brand.

awesome
Would RecommendThese pliers are so easy to use and particularly to open. You can open and close them with only one hand and they have good grip.

pliers
Would RecommendHeavy duty pliers work kind of like ViceGrips, only better. It did take ME a little while to figure out how they work to make them to release. Now I love them.

Easy to ise
Would RecommendBest vise grip style pliers I have ever used. So much easier to release than traditional style. I would purchase these a thousand times over.

Locking Plier set
Would RecommendA nice locking plier set. Good quality as would be expected from Kobalt. Excellent for use in the car garage. Gave as a gift and was well received.

Well made!
Would RecommendThese vice grips are well made and clamp strong. The only reason for not rating five stars I’d the unlocking mechanism is unfamiliar and hard to get used to.

The spring slide disengaged after first use
Would Not RecommendI had never owned a Kobalt tool. Bought these on sale willing to give them a try. They looked solid in the pack. Opened the pack and engaged the smaller pliers. The slide lock disengaged immediately. Just popped out. On closer inspection the slide grooves were uneven. Looked like amateur manufacturing. Neither groove was straight. Immediately returned to the store. Glad I found out about the quality of Kobalt. Not buying any of their tools, cheap and poorly manufactured.
