Emergency Lug Nut Remover

I stripped one of the lug nuts on my 2014 F-150 using the factory lug wrench. The nuts are 21mm, but they have a stupid sheet metal cap on them for some reason. I had to chisel/cut the sheet metal cap off of the lug nut, which made it too small for the 21mm lug wrench to fit tight. Since all lug wrenches seem to come with a 19 and a 21mm socket, the 19mm was too small. Well made socket

I bought this, as an impact kit I bought did not include a 12mm socket for some reason. This is a well made socket. The wall thickness at the fastener end is on par with higher priced sockets and has a good taper for access to tighter areas.

socket for lugnut

I punched The 23mm deepwell socket to use on my trucks lugnuts. I keep it in my truck with a breaker to change a flat if needed. It's better than our oem lug wrench that came with my truck.
