Would Not RecommendPoor quality. After using to drill 8 countersinks into ¾" hickory the shank would just fall apart. I went thru multiple bits for 24 holes!

Would RecommendI have a full set of these that I am very happy with. They drill well/fast and the counter sink bit also acts as a depth stop. The counter sink bit is held in place with two set screws so, as long as both set screws are properly tightened, the counter sink holds fast and true to the drill bit and the hex shank means no spinning in the chuck and works with a hex driver as well as a drill... I do wish Kobalt would add a different style of counter sink bit, that bored a flat-bottomed hole like a Fo...

Work Great But
Would RecommendThese really work great but it is easy to brake the bit or when it wares out it is VERY difficult to find replacement bits that are long enought to work in the device. I have 3 of them on my work bnech in just that condition!!
The tip wobbles, making it very difficult to center the drill bit, which is the whole point of the item. Readjusting in the chuck does not help.

Would RecommendBought One drilled maybe 100-150 holes and then the hex collar started slipping so i returned it got another and the same thing happened

Would Not RecommendThe whole purpose is to drill a straight pilot hole, this wobbles when spun. Finish will also rust quickly. You get what you pay for, buy the bosch instead

Does not spin straight
Would Not RecommendI tried one of these today. Did not spin straight in the drill nor in the driver. Tried rotating and adjusting everything on the device to no avail. One could describe it as a wobble. It appeared the part locking in the chuck was not in a straight line with the part holding the drill bit. It would have ruined my work had I tried it there. Next try will be with a US made product. It got returned the same day it was purchased.
