Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt Virtually Indestructible Waterproof 600-Lumen 3 -Adjustable Mode LED Flashlight

Kobalt Flashlight with Kobalt Lifetime Warranty

Experience with Kobalt products so far has been extremely positive. It is marketed as a “virtually indestructible flashlight.” It won’t be tested to that degree but it seems like it’s very solid. Since that seem like it’s primary feature, it is featureless. The beam is not adjustable. The lamp lens is plastic. It’s hard to tell if how thick it is. It does compress slightly under pressure. At 600 lumens it is bright and shines pretty far casting a fairly wide beam of light. Then ends are rubberiz...

Robust

A robust flashlight. Feels solid in your hand, good weight metal body (aluminum) with soft impact absorbing rubber ends. I'm sure it can withstand a significant drop. Weatherproofing seems it will handle the worst weather. Three on settings High, Low, Blink. The blink setting is about a 50% cycle no S.O.S. pattern. The lamp is LED so there should be no burn out issues to deal with and also a low power draw. It is rated at 3.5 hours on high beam. A compromise between battery life and size/weight ...

Perfect size

This 2 pack of flashlights with batteries is a very good buy. I can see these things lasting a long time. This is a perfect truck/car or nightstand light. It has two brightness settings. Good job on this one Kobalt.

Solid construction

This 600 lumen flashlight is lightweight yet feels very secure and grippy in the hand. Comes with 4 Duracell batteries and is ready to go. The tail button clicks through each of the 3 settings; high, low, and strobe, or you can lightly depress for a quick on/off. It has a nice center focus spot, but also has a descent flood beam around the center focus. It has a white light, and a good throw. The only thing that would make it better, would be rechargeable batteries with a usb plug to recharge. M...

A Lot of Light

A lot of light for such a small penlight. Rugged little unit. The lamp head is covered with rubber preventing damage if dropped.

Solid built flashlight

This is a well built flashlight, not thin cheap metal, rubber protects both ends, water proof. It is easy to change the batteries (comes with 4 AA batteries, which is nice, would make a good present just because of that.). The end switch has unique feature when turning it on and off. Press button once high beam, press button again off, press button again low beam, press button again off, press button again flashing, press button again off. Very bright beam, lit up my basement nice.

Substantial ! ! !

A very well made flashlight! Quite bright with a wide beam. It has 3 modes: bright...dim...and flashing. The flashing mode could probably disorient someone staring into the beam. The handle is easy to grip and both ends of the flashlight are "rubberized" to protect the flashlight and anything that it may bump into if dropped. The ends are shaped in order to prevent the flashlight from rolling. The on/off button is at the end and cycles the different modes of the beam. The batteries are easy to c...

Great for total Darkness

I had the opportunity to check out the Kobalt 600 lumens flashlight and lets just say during the daylight this flashlight put out enough light to blind you if you look into it like I did.. yup, I'm a Rocket Surgent, The Rouged design makes for a great shop light, or a keep in the car for that search for the cat late at night. Its amazing how much light this produces off of only 4 AA batteries, included in the package. That was a good part makes a great gift for the person that has everything, wh...

Great light

Just received the flashlight, it's lightweight and durable. Great 2 settings ,love how bright it is

Light weight and bright

These flashlights are light weight and easy to carry using the clip feature. I like that they do not take up a large amount of space in my drawer. The clip is actually useful because they are lightweight and small i can clip to my pocket and easily access when needed. The two settings are bright enough to create a good amount of light in comparison to their size. The only thing that I dont love is the on off button, you do have to push until it clicks which is a bit more challenging than a slide...
