Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 46 -Piece Standard (SAE) and Metric Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the comprehensive tool selection, quality construction, and excellent value, with most expressing strong satisfaction. The ratchet operates smoothly with strong socket retention, while color-coded bands and laser-etched markings aid identification. Chrome-plated finishes and solid engineering make tools feel professional-grade. However, the storage case is a significant frustration—many report drawers collapse under weight, latches fail to stay closed, and sockets fall out unexpectedly. Several note the case feels cheap despite tool quality. A few wish for additional wrenches or extensions. Overall, reviewers recommend the tools despite case design issues.

Would Not RecommendI bought 4 of these and paid $87.79, I have messages where supposedly this was picked up by a driver and was on the way to me, after a few minutes you started a return without me authorizing it and also made a refund of only $84.80, something strange happens in your warehouses and those of us who lose money are the customers, I need a clear answer!
Excellent Little Mechanics Tool Set
Would RecommendThis is an excellent little mechanics tool set at a great price. The tools are well-made, and they come in their own case that looks like it will hold up for a long time. It is nice to buy a set without the "extra" filler tools to make the set sound better... The compact size makes it easy for me to toss it into the truck's under-seat storage. (I bought two and will be adding the other to our second vehicle.)

Solid portable set
Would RecommendI bought this as a 2nd set for using on projects around the house. It works well and the ratchet seems crisp. Worked excellent when assembling my daughters power wheels for Christmas.

OK tools, bad discerption
Would Not RecommendThis is a decent tool set for the price. The online description is wrong. There is no 19mm socket and 3" extension and spark plug sockets.

Comprehensive socket set
Would RecommendThe socket set is comprehensive in both standard and metric, my previous set stopped at smaller numbers and I had to use large wrenches were a pain. This set is a time saver.
