Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 297 -Piece Metric and standard (SAE) Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case

Not going to last a lifetime, but good enough

Very acceptable tools

Too much bits

Good quality but not as before

Awesome deal!

Unbelievable deal for 3 different size rachets and everything else. Bought on clearance for $59.99

All you need

Great tool kit

Store locker pick up was ready in minutes

Quick and easy to purchase

horrible design on tools and box

u feel like ur getting good deal. but the ratchets design makes it where u hit the direction mechanism when ur trying to loosen or tighten anything. so ur constantly having to flip th switch back so u can continue. as for the box it's useless they fall apart after use and the tools end up just scattered throughout bc doesn't hold them in place. I wld buy craftsman box like this before I wld kobalt their designed so much better and ratchets are way better.

Good mix for the pice

Good set for home use

A fairly complete set that includes 90t ratchets, not 72t like a lot of competing sets on the market.

Great set all in one easy to cary

Enjoying the entire kit. The only thing I do wish was the drawers would have a locking feature. Overall great organization of many choices needed.

This is the one I grab to take care of business.

This kit provides DEEP and shallow sockets without all the fluff bits and allens, etc. Nice case/latches too.

Nice product

The teeth per rachet

Socket kit is great. Socket wrench is a joke.

Sockets were used on a bobcat mini excavator and worked good flawlessly. Only down fall was socket wrench, feels like a toy and is too short/small, used another 3/8s socket wrench just because of how this one felt upon pulling it out of its case. Didnt feel good and that was that.

The set contains only the wrenches I really want.

Most socket sets include numerous screwdriver tips, allen wrenches, etc. to appear that you're getting large numbers of tools. This set only contains sae and metric sockets and ratchet wrench and extensions. Those are the tools I really wanted and the price and quality are excellent.

Don't think they can be beat for the price

Quality tools at affordable price

Not As Described

The product description and photos show the metric and SAE sockets are color coded red and blue for quick identification. However, they were not. This was a selling-point for me so I'm now taking them back. Overall, it's a good product but I bought this set over another set because of the color-coding.
