Would Not RecommendThank goodness for a lifetime replacement guarantee. Lowe’s has been great and takes it back and give me another one for free, but this shovel cracked in half two times taking out shallow shrubs. It does work great and it feels sturdy when it doesn’t break. If you’re going to be picking up shrubs for a while, I’d recommend something else.

Savior for Transplanting Established Perennials!
Excellent tool! I'm needing to relocate several perennials in this heat, including established large hosta, lilies, iris, and tomorrow a hydrangea. All due to the landscapers schedule to rejuvenate the yard in July. There is simply no way I'd be able to cut through the roots of close grasses and sumac to get these plants out without the Kobalt Root Slayer!
