Would Not RecommendThe drill bit is made soft material. Three holes and it bent! I was able to use the countersink adapter on different drill bit. You get what you pay for.

Very poor quality
Would Not RecommendHaving misplaced two vix bits I've had for years, I was happy to locate this one. The older ones were very precise in operation, but this on is simply terrible. The tool wobbles wildly at even low speeds, and the drill bit itself is such a loose fit in the spring-loaded guide that the holes were off-center, the exact opposite of why I purchased this. Best (mediocre) results were obtained by holding the guide with one hand and operating the drill with the other. Do not buy this product.
Broke during first use
Would Not RecommendPoor quality product. The hex portion spun freely after ~10 holes, then the bit snapped off. I'm very disappointed, wish I had read reviews before.
Broke in minutes
Would Not RecommendThe countersink portion of the bit has small, thin metal parts instead of a robust jacket all around the drill bit portion. As a result, after countersinking about 6 holes into a thin acrylic sheet, one of the prongs broke off and rendered the bit useless for countersinking as it became totally unbalanced.

Would Not RecommendUsed 3 days on cabinet install. About an inch broke off. I drill part way and then back it out to clear the flutes.

Would RecommendDoes the job when installing new door hinges. Spring gets stuck occasionally from wood down the shaft, pretty east to clear.

Like all other Kobalt bits...
Would Not RecommendTHis thing is pure garbage. I drilled 32 holes with it, and the quick attach chuck adapter fell off. I will add that i was using this in pine, so it would have broken much sooner in hardwood. I swore in the past that i would never buy any more of Kobalt’s bits, as all of them have been trash in the past, but i was in a pinch and this was all my Lowe’s had in stock at the time. DO NOT BUY THIS BIT!

Kobalt dills are one of the best
Call ball drills are up-and-coming second to none. I’ve used other drills but they work harder longer just like me. Until they invent the everlasting drill this is the one for me
