Would RecommendDid what I needed it to. Helped test wires to make sure all lines were dead in a panel when I didnt know if my breakers killed power due to bad labeling. Got my dimmer installed and the wife is happy.

non contact tester waaaay too sensitive
Would Not Recommendnon contact tester activates a foot away from outlet etc so it's useless to localize voltage source.

Fantastic Klein Tools GFCI tester
Would RecommendThis is a fantastic GFCI tester unlike many others in the market as it gives the actual time it took for the GFCI breaker to trip when testing - very useful to check if the GFCI outlet is up to spec.
Works good lasts a long time. Bought as gift.

Sturdy, well built, electrical testing device.
Would RecommendBought a new one that I beat up over the years. The flashlight portion still works and I’ll keep using it. The new one works just as well for both functions. It is a well built product and I’m very satisfied with it. I’ll get another replacement if I kill this one.
