Should be more sensitive

It doesn't seem to be as sensitive as my old one, The old one would alert right though the wires jacket, The new one needs direct contact with the copper, That makes it harder and a longer process to find live wires

Reasonable, but looking for a better solution

Cost and form factor are good. I wasn’t overly thrilled to discover it didn’t work with GFCI receptacles. And generally, the device seemed hesitant when there was power to be confident in its indication. Meaning, it wouldn’t always beep and light up solid; it was a bit intermittent. Maybe it was how I was using it.
