Plaster walls are a challenge
Would RecommendI bought this to locate studs in plaster walls (1950 construction). Although the magnet seems strong, it couldn't find studs any better than my two other (non-magnetic) studfinders. I'll keep it for simpler drywall projects.

Would RecommendThis is under $20, compact, accurate and easy to use. It works fantastically on wood studs with metal screws/nails. It uses rare earth magnets that find those screw easily. Idk what products they have available on other planets, but this is one is the best I’ve used on earth so far. It’s currently just chillin on my wall until I muster up the motivation and free time to mount my TV. It even has a built in level. I mean, how much better could it get? Good job Klein tools.
