What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this voltage tester for reliability and intuitive light indicators that clearly show voltage levels without complex displays. The built-in flashlight significantly improves visibility in dark panels, while the compact design and probe storage snap-back feature earn consistent approval. Most appreciate the confidence it provides for safely testing outlets and verifying breakers are off. A small number mention probe tips feel too short for stripped wires, the plastic covering occasionally slides off, or the GFI button trips too easily. Despite these minor issues, reviewers consider it an indispensable, well-built tool that outperforms cheaper alternatives.

From Dual Range Non-Contact Voltage Tester with Flashlight, 12 to 1000V AC Verified Purchaser
Worked great initially
Would Not RecommendThe battery cap (screw on) has failed after about 8 months. I started having trouble with the light and NCVT test coming on after about 6 months, cleaned the contacts and it was fine fine for a bit longer, but gave up after a few weeks. I cleaned it again and no joy, the thing is dead. I would not recommend this dual purpose tester. The contact from the screw on battery cap to the body of the tester is meh at best.
