Ratings & Reviews for Klein Tools 10-in-1 Impact-Rated Stubby Driver Set with Flip Socket

NICE TOOL but uses odd short bits.

I just bought this tool and I really liked it until I opened the package. The problem is it uses goofy/proprietary short bits so you can't use regular 1-in bits in the storage handle. I do like that the bit holder is adjustable so you can make the screwdriver very short.

Works well and easy to carry.

Purchased b/c it is easy to pack around while on a job site.

nice handy tool

stubby

Get a different stubby

To start with, the space for storing bits is much too small, and it is unnecessarily difficult to remove the bits for use. The next problem is the bits themselves. Klein bits may be impact rated, but have consistently shown themselves to be fragile and low quality when used with any kind of serious force, which is less of an issue with this stubby, since the rubber grip just comes loose and spins around the plastic when torque is applied.

Cool

Cool multi-functional tool

Very handy tool!

I bought this to have a stubby to go with my full size Klien multi bit and socket set. Handy to be able to have it short and then be able to make it a longer driver. Great quality tool!

Works for me…

Did what I needed it to do. Yes the top/“cap” does spin - quit whining about it and just grip it differently and that resolves that “issue”. Magnet is strong enough, and the locking mechanism locked on all the stops. Yes - at full extension it’s a bit loose/wobbly, but this a screwdriver, not some precision instrument. Knocked off a star strictly because removing bits from the handle is rather difficult - it’s quite tight - but it’s not really a deal breaker because if it was not tight enoug...

Good idea but poor execution

The cover to get to the bits and removing the bits is too small and too hard to use

standard replacement bits don't fit

got it hoping to replace my 27 in 1 klein screwdriver after losing the Phillips #2. this driver also uses non-standard bits that are shorter and 1in replacement bits wont fit so I'd be in the same boat next time it happens, returning it.

Great convenient tool to have around the house

Absolutely love this small yet very convenient stubby driver. It is small enough to keep it in your car or in your kitchen drawer. Has multiple attachments and keep them safe inside the handle. Also interchangeable socket helps in certain situations. I have used it several times now and definitely would recommend it to have around the house for any occasion. You need to tighten the screws in your plug socket or light switch, there you have it! Your dresser drawer handle got loose, the Klein stub...

The stubby you need

As an electrician, I love the versatility of this tool. Really gets me into tight spaces with minimal effort. The dual 1/4 / 5/16 driver is great to have on the job site
