Would Not Recommend"Self adjusting" - NOPE, Work as they should - NOPE. Belong in the trash -YES These "self adjusting" wire strippers worked about 20 percent of the time, regardless of the manual adjustment. These were unable to properly strip or cut 16 - 18 AWG wire. I don't have the time to struggle with my tools. Will no longer be buying ANY klein tools. These are absolute garbage, the last photo shows them in the trash can, where they belong.

Doesn't adjust tight enough
Would Not RecommendI have had two of these now and they both do the same thing. I'm cutting basic solid 12g THHN and both of these that I have (both new) will not hold down on the wire hard enough to cut the insulation and separate it. The wire just keeps sliding through the head. The "tension" screw (or should I say lack there of tension screw) is as tight as it will go. Would RecommendI saw these being used on a Govee Pro outdoor lights install on Youtube . I'll say that I was totally impressed . Stripping telephone & internet wiring by wringing them with splicing shears is definitely a thing of the past . These strippers are very easy to use & are a pleasure , too .

A good wire stripper
Would RecommendI needed a wire stripper to set for the wago connectors. This did the trick. It took a few times with scrap wire, but once you set it and lock it in it's consistent. It also includes a cutter for wire. Klein tools seem to be well made. Recommended
