Compressor died at 4 Years

Our 4-year-old fridge still looks brand new. Unfortunately, the compressor went out, so it no longer cools. I gave it a couple of stars for being good looking, but a major appliance should last longer than this.

Junk

we have owned this for a little over a year and the Refridgerator freezes food we havetriedall the reccomendations to fix it and nothing worked. kitchenaid wants $500 to repair it.

Love my Kitchenaid appliances.

This is a great refridgerator, solid constuction, and the drawer ice maker is fantastic. we've become kitchenaid customers for all our major kitchen appliances. The handle styling in particular is very high end and functional. It ended up inspiring our cabinet pulls.

Very nice fridge

I love the refrigerator it’s very room . The only draw back is the size of the freezer. It’s not that roomy as the refrigerator.

Difficult features

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This new fridge was in our show home when we bought it. The shelves have a space at the back and things fall back if you are not careful. The interior water dispenser is awkward to use where it’s located. The seal on the fridge sweats alot not sure how great the seal is. Otherwise the space in the fridge and lower drawer is good.

An older version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I bought a new home and moved to Texas this refrigerator came with the house. It wasn’t taken care of so with our homeowners warranty we replaced the filter which the housing for the filter broke. Our original refrigerator in Colorado was identical to this one but 3 years newer than this one.If I have to replace this one I would cause I like the style of refrigerator.

Beautiful fridge, has too many issues

I bought this in 1/2024 (about 1 year, 7 months ago) because I loved how it looked and the reviews were overall good. I love how sleek it looks, and the counter depth was perfect for my kitchen. Also liked the indoor water dispenser since I don’t like how outside ones look. However, it has so many issues that I’m seeing other reviews have mentioned too. The rubber seals around the edges started coming off early on. The ice maker suddenly stopped working. Loud noises coming from it every so often...

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This refrigerator was in a condo that I purchased. I did not choose the appliance. The ice cube maker in the freezer makes FAR TOO MUCH ice! The produce drawers are small and I always have produce on a shelf. The light in the freezer is intermittent; sometimes it comes on and sometimes not when the freezer door is opened. There is condensation on the freezer door gasket and a new door has been ordered.

Cheap model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the lowest end of the current KitchenAid inside the door water model. This is what GHO supplied us and we’re stuck with it. I have friends who own Kitchen Aid and have nothing but problems and I assume that we’re gonna be having the same problem. Is unacceptable to be given this type of material with no resolution to putting things in the refrigerator.

Not designed smartly…

I bought this 3 years go. The water dispenser is inside the unit. You need two hands to operate it and it drips a few drops after each use. Also, the compressor noise is too loud and annoying.

Great fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good! We’ve had our new refrigerator for a couple of weeks and have had zero issues. The only thing I would probably change in my next one would be the water in the door vs. inside the fridge. However, I love how much ice we get.

DO NOT BUY

I’ve owned for less than a year. Within a month the seals around the door began to tear and had to be replaced. Them it began making a horrible loud noise and they had to replace the damper. I just woke up to a freezer of dethawed food - 44 degrees and a fridge at 52. I will be demanding a replacement. I wish I never purchased this. Worst appliance I’ve ever purchased. Save yourself the headache and stay away from the piece of junk.

New refrigerators

Great appliance. the looks are great. modern and simple design. Quiet running and makes ice fast. Great filter water feature.
