Good Dishwasher

This dishwasher is similar to my old 25 year dishwasher that was a Kitchenaid. I know they don't make them like they use to, built to last. it has a rinse only button, a must for me and the 4 hour delay button. It load dishes easily. So far I am satisfied with thei diswasher.

Door Spring Failure

If you want to be intimately acquainted with your dishwasher after your first anniversary, this model is for you! Door hinge spring popped off at 14 months and it's not a pleasant repair. Apparently, it's designed to fail at this point (see comments in this repair video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqMC25fYe_E&t=322s

Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working great.. It is very easy to load and accommodates large pots. The dishwasher is very quiet. The dishes are clean and dry snd ready to be put away.

Good selection of options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet. Plenty of space between the racks for taller dishes. I haven’t used the heated dry but one time because of energy usage. It did a great job the one time I did use it. I guess my only complaints would be that my plates don’t stay upright due to the placement of the posts. I also wish the selection buttons were better located because I find it difficult to see them at the angle they are placed.

Rusted side rails!!!

After 15 months of use the side rails where the basket pulls out started rusting. I just got off the phone with kitchenaid about this, they refuse to send me parts to replace because its out of the 12 months warranty. VERY DISSAPOINTED in such a large company and an expensive purchase, I didn't think a $1000 dishwasher would rust so fast and them refusing to send parts, but they want me to purchase them. Again I'm very unhappy with kitchenaid as a company, very disappointed and very sad........

Great Dishwasher

HORRIBLE, don’t waste your money

Worst dishwasher ever. We thought we’d be upgrading by swapping our home builder Frigidaire appliance with the kitchenaid and that was a huge mistake. The Frigidaire was so much better. This kitchenaid dishwasher hardly cleans, you have to scrub the dishes spotless before putting them in here. You cannot have 1 speck of food on the dishes or it will not clean it off. And now it won’t even shut, the dishwasher is completely unusable, door won’t latch or shut at all; so it won’t even turn on. I’m ...

KitchenAid brand no longer reflects quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it on Thursday didn't clean good from the start. repair man came out said its a bad motor. That's not good when you buy something new and its not working at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this dishwasher for 3 weeks & my complaint is it doesn’t hold as many dishes as my Bosch did. The prongs seem to be further apart. Also the booklet that comes with it is poor quality.
