Beautiful Lights with a Moisture Problem

I purchased 4 of these post lights and all 4 steam up on the inside quite regularly. It takes lots of sunlight or burning the lights for several hours to clear them up. Other than that I really like them as they are sturdy and look nice.

Looks beautiful put a led old looking bulb in. Instead of using there’s just 4 energy savings works great.

Nicer Than Expected!

Replaced a 30 year old post lantern today. Easy 15 minute switchover to the Barrington (3 wires and 5 screws). The style is understated but very unique with a touch of class! Provides a very nice light that looks like the warm glow of a gas light.

Love the look but the glass is always foggy!

We bought this light a little over a year ago, however, we did not install it until the end of August '17. We blamed the fogginess on the humidity, however, it fogged up on and off all winter! Unless it's dry and sunny out, the glass is cloudy... We're very disappointed, not sure if we can return it because we threw out the box, but we're going to try. Btw, we have this light on our covered back porch (no bottom to hold in moisture) and love it!

Installed into low voltage system

I installed the Barrington line of Kichler low voltage landscape lights along with a Kichler low voltage transformer with a photoelectric eye so that all my lights, including the post light, come on from dusk to dawn for security. I simply swapped out the bulb that comes with the unit for an led 5 watt (60 watt equivalent) bulb. Contrary to one of the reviews, the post light does NOT come with an led bulb. The bulb packaged with the unit is a very nice, decorative 60 watt Edison bulb but it is 1...

Good Product

We installed 5 post lights and 2 wall lights today. All went together very well. They are cast aluminum and well built. Would buy Lichler again.

Kichler for the home owner

Bought two matching lights one for my front post and the other for my front door which is a sconce. Both look really good, and made very well. And I am a electrical contractor , I put these on my own home , because they were perfect in price and value.

I am so glad I decided to purchase these lights for the end of my driveway. I absolutely love them. I actually helped install them with our contractor so I would learn how to change the bulb in the future. The top easily comes off when two screws are removed. They are not glaring spot lights, but a nice warm glow. The glass in the light is also beautiful. It is not a thin fragile glass but a thicker glass with a "rain drop" look which I believe takes away the glare from any bulb you decide to us...
