Beautiful fixture but bulbs are dim...

Great looking fixture. Bulbs that come with it are nice but like others say, if its your main light source it's a little dim for a center island light. We replaced with LED 660 lumes bulbs but those are too bright and bluish for me. Need to find a happy medium in between those two. Fixture itself is beautiful and fairly easy to install.

I LOVE this light! It looks amazing above my kitchen island! I'm so sad to have to return it though!. .like the other reviews said, it is hard to get level and doesn't give off enough light. Adjusting the chain linkages is a quite difficult! The reason I will be returning the light is due to the fact that it casts so many shadows. . even with my two overhead lights and after replacing the bulbs with LED 60w white bulbs. I would recommend this light for ambiance over a dining room table only!

Beautiful lights

These lights are beautiful. I would have given them 5 stars but the installation was more difficult than you might think. The only improvement to these would be hard drop tubes instead of chains.

Amazing Light - with a few tweaks

First off, this is a GORGEOUS chandelier! Out of the box, it doesn't give off hardly any light, very dim BUT that's an EASY fix! If you are planning to use it over a dining room table or to be the main source of light for a room, just buy some LED Edison bulbs - sold at Walmart and on Amazon! Only other semi-Con is that installation is kind of a pain. Just keep these things in mind when purchasing. It looks great, But I had to buy it 3 time before I got a good one. The first two I got had one broken glass. You don't get much light with the bulb that come in. Other than that the color is nice, i actually use it for my dinning room.

I absolutely love the Barrington collection and plan on getting others to add to my home lighting. We did have a bit of an issue installing with our existing electrical wiring box but nothing that removes the star rating.

Light Review

This light was very easy to hang. It is not wood and it had a large paint spot on it that we could not remove.

Great purchase

We are doing some minor cosmetic change in our home which one of them was changing all the light fixtures! Me and my husband disagreed on many lights for our dinner room. We finally picked this one as we like the modern rustic look and the simplicity of it! It looks amazing! We both love it! And we get some many positive comments from our families and friends! Great design and functionality. This light looks beautiful over my kitchen table. Antique lights do put off a little more heat than an LED bulb. But the style is great. I’ve also bought the mini pendant light and the flush mount light all of the same brand that match.

Look great and very well made!

These hanging lights look great and we get a lot compliments. The wood is actually metal, but look like real wood. They are well made and they could last forever. I replaced the light bulbs for LED lights because these vintage lights consume a lot of electricity. The regular vintage 60v lights are not bright enough for most people. They create the ambience of a fine restaurant, but compatible LED lights are way brighter. I highly recommend this lights.

Nice looking in a picture not in person

It looks nice in pictures but once you hang it it only hangs one way so be careful how you box in your celling is mounted I had to make an adapter plate to hang mine the direction I needed it to go in.

Awesome light. Looks great!

Put this over our island in our kitchen and my wife and I love it! I had to run a whole new switch leg to that area so it was a lot of work but it was worth it!

Gorgeous Light with a very rustic look!

Very pricey, I do think it is over priced, all of the Kichler Barrington brand is very high priced. But this light is amazing looking above me kitchen island in my new home which is rustic themed!
