What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this soil amendment for exceptional moisture retention and plant health improvements, particularly in arid climates. Most report visible results within weeks, with many citing thriving roses, fruit trees, and vegetables after application. Reviewers consistently highlight its organic composition, dual function as mulch and fertilizer, and excellent value. Long-term users emphasize decades of loyalty and strong word-of-mouth recommendations. A very few mention labeling confusion or minimal benefit, but these represent isolated cases vastly outweighed by enthusiastic endorsements.

Would RecommendThis mulch is great for mixing with soil but they manufacture doesn’t recommend using in vegetable gardens. I did find that information on the bag after mixing.

VEGETABLE GARDEN?
Would RecommendI have seen some reviews here that say they use this on their vegetable gardens and yet the bag clearly says it is "not" 🚫 for use on vegetable gardens.
Great product.
Would RecommendIt spread on easily and covered the required area.

Good value
Would RecommendI'm no expert on planting mix. I mainly bought this because I had heard of the name and I received 2 cf instead of 1.5 from other brands. Only time will tell if it is as affective as other brands.

Love this stuff
Would RecommendI have used this mulch for years, through 3 beautiful homes and yards. Every tree and every shrub, I mix some into the soil and then top dress. I appreciate that it’s not too expensive and almost everything has thrived.
