Useful tool when building a deck
Would RecommendI used the steel carpenter square frequently while replacing several of the boards on my deck. When inserted between the boards, it also proved useful in helping to visualize and mark where the underlying support beams were before I screwed the new boards into place.

Would RecommendHaven't used it much, but looks like it will be handy. Not sure about the purpose for the little notch where the two legs meet. I was actually looking for a straight 1-foot steel ruler. I lost my nice K&E draftsman's ruler. However, I think this one will be OK. The markings are easy to see.
