Would Not Recommendtwo huge issues. you have to manually open the valve, load starts to build up on the spreader while you jump onto the mower to start moving. so the initial start point has a lot spread, which can burn the lawn if you are using a stronger chemical. the 2nd issue is the spreader throws 360 degrees, so you and the mower are covered in chemicals at the end of the spread.
Is worthless as soon as you.put some fertilizer.in it it starts going through even though the hopper has been closed the flow valve is open tried fixing according to instructions no luck

Haven’t used it yet. Didn’t realize it was made by Agrifab. Broke a plastic bushing during installation. Took almost three weeks to get it from Lowe’s. Will never order from Lowe’s again.

Overpriced junk
Would Not RecommendYour paying for a John Deere sticker. Low quality doesn't last made with cheap steel parts that will corode immediately when using it for either fertilizer or salt. For just pennies more in parts they could have used stainless steel components.

Not John Deere
Would Not RecommendI bought this and every year I have to rebuild the gearbox with all new parts. I now just ordered another round of parts to rebuild it again. So far 4 rebuilds. Junk aluminum gears and plastic parts to rebuild it for next season. Agri-fab should buy them all back.

Would RecommendSpreader is great!! Hopefully lasts for years to come. The instructions however very poor. Hard to read, see and navigate. Will take time to put together and two sets of eyes to read assembly instructions will help.
